Collaborate with juried artist Jeff Mello, owner of The Cigar Box Guitar Store and luthier at Mad Sci Innovations on a one-of-a-kind cigar box guitar. With a collaboration, the possibilities are limitless, but include choices of:

• 3 or 4 string cigar box guitars or 2 string cigar box bass

• Box, including custom-made box, license plate, tin or other found object

• Sound hole design

• Selection of pickups

• Woods used

• Fret marker inlays

• Headstock style

Prices vary depending on complexity, but many can be built for $400-$600. Shipping within the U.S. ranges from $35-$50 depending on the address and the weight of the guitar. Read reviews of his creations here.
